The objective of the organization shall be to provide the opportunity for our youths to participate in organized skating and hockey programs to develop standards of good citizenship, sportsmanship, and respect.

2020-2021 Programs

 

Learn to Skate / Learn to Play Hockey


Learn to Skate (“LTS”) / Learn to Play Hockey (“LTPH”) are instructional programs that run in two 10 week periods over the hockey season.  The first session starts in September and the second in January.  Sessions are held once a week on either Saturday or Sunday.  The goal of the program is to teach its participants the fundamentals of ice skating by letting them enjoy a playgroup environment that is safe, noncompetitive and encouraging enough to give children the confidence they need so they can skate and learn to play hockey.  Players may transfer to any hockey program at anytime during the season when appropriate for his/her development.  Tuition will be moved and pro-rated for any transfers within any Junior Crusader Programs.

• Helmet – with face shield

• Elbow and knee pads

• Gloves

• Full Hockey Equipment

 

Mosquitoes

Birth years 2009 – 2012; outside these birth years must get approval from Mosquito Director

 

The Mosquito program is designed to take kids who have graduated from LTS/LTPH and introduce them into the game of ice hockey.  The program is a 26 week season with 1-2 practices per week with informal cross ice games mixed in.  The program provides an excellent way for both parents and children to be introduced to the game of hockey. The program starts in October and runs through March.  Players may transfer to any hockey program at anytime during the season when appropriate for his/her development.Tuition will be moved and pro-rated for any transfers within any Junior Crusader Programs.

8U

Birth years 2012 - 2013

 

The 8U program includes skaters from total beginners to players with 1-3 years of experience.  The season begins in August and runs through April with practices twice per week.  Teams will have the opportunity to play approximately 22 cross-ice games in the North Star Youth League.  All games (home and away) are played at the North Star Youth Forum in Westborough. These teams will get roughly 2-3 practices and a game a week for a total of roughly 80 practices and 22 games from August through April.

10U

Birth years 2010 - 2011

 

Our 10U program will participate in the North Star Youth League which will offers a guarantee of 30 games, including playoffs. All games will be played at the North Star Youth Forum in Westborough. These teams get roughly 80 practices from August through April.

12U

Birth years 2008 – 2009

 

Our 12U program will participate in the North Star Youth League which will offers a guarantee of 30 games including playoffs. All games will be played at the North Star Youth Forum in Westborough. These teams get roughly 80 practices from August through April.

14U

Birth years 2006 – 2007

 

Our 14U program will participate in the Eastern Minor Hockey League which will provide 35 games plus playoffs. These teams get roughly 70 practices from August through April.

16U

Birth years 2004 - 2005

 

Our 16U program will offer a split season so we can concentrate on placing as many skaters on high school teams as possible.  Our 16U will participate in the Premier Hockey League for the first half of the season, which will provide 16-20 games. These teams get roughly 30 practices from August through November.

Elite/AAA Program - Premier Hockey League (PHL)

Our Elite/AAA teams will participate in one of the top Elite/AAA leagues, the Premier Hockey League.  The Premier Hockey League is one of the largest hockey leagues in New England, offering Premier, Elite and Select levels of competition that include 8U through 16U.
